01/10/2019 - Planning for Family Farm Day (FFD) is underway for year seven in Schoharie County, four in Otsego, and two for Delaware. By all accounts, 2018 went very well, the ideal weather being a key factor along with a diversity of farms, extensive publicity, and the addition of Delaware County farms and county tourism. Participating farms continue to benefit from widespread publicity and excellent farm product sales, while visitors build awareness about agriculture, local farming, real food, and a multitude of farm products. And best of all, they get to meet with you!
