From Our Family to Yours: A Fundraising Event for the Roxbury Arts Group March 31
03/30/2012 - On Saturday, March 31, 2012, at 6 p.m., the Roxbury Arts Group invites the public to attend a family style fundraising dinner, inspired by the 'Food, Glorious Food' film series, followed by a screening of the film 'Big Night' at 8pm. The Roxbury Arts Group staff and board will be in the kitchen preparing their favorite family recipes, which will be served at a fundraising dinner which will take place at Cassie's Cafe in Roxbury.
"We love the way that food is always accompanied by great friends and great conversation," says Jenny Rosenzweig, Executive Director of the Roxbury Arts Group. So the board and staff of the Roxbury Arts Group will be preparing their own family recipes, new and old, and serving them up at Cassie's Cafe in Roxbury as a fundraiser to support programming that the Roxbury Arts Group offers in our community, such as this film series.
Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and will be served family style, giving diners the chance to try a little-bit-of-this and a little-bit-of-that as they take part in this culinary adventure. There will be plenty of choices for both omnivores and vegetarians! A ticket to this fundraising event is $25 per guest and includes the meal as well as a ticket to the film which will be screened at 8:00pm just up the street at the Roxbury Arts Center. Guests will also receive a recipe book with will feature some of the evenings offerings. Tickets for the film screening of 'Big Night' can also be purchased separately.
Space for dinner is limited, so reservations are required. Make yours by calling the Roxbury Arts Group at 607-326-7908 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Dinner will be served at Cassie's Café on Main Street in Roxbury, NY. The film will be screened at the Roxbury Arts Center, 5025 Vega Mt. Rd., Roxbury.
