SUMPTUOUS BRUNCH TO BENEFIT PROGRAMS AND SERVICES FOR THE ELDERLY
04/20/2012 - On Sunday, May 6, 2012 the Delhi College Hospitality Program's Restaurant and Banquet Management Class will present a fabulous brunch to benefit programs and services for the elderly in Delaware County. This brunch is to be held at the Delhi College Alumni Hall Hospitality Center from 10:30am until 1:30pm. The meal will include baked goods, salads, a carving station, an omelet station, a mixture of breakfast and hot entrees and other delicious brunch items. To top off the meal, a wide variety of tasty desserts will be available at the dessert bar.
Tickets for the fund raiser will be $17.50 for adults, $5 for children five to ten years of age, and no charge for children under five. All ticket sales will be donated to benefit the Delaware County Senior Council's Elderly Program and Services fund which is used to support programs and services that help the elderly remain in their homes. A shuttle van will be provided for transporting brunch goers to the Hospitality Center. Anyone wanting to use the shuttle service should park in Parking Lot E. There will be signs and balloons identifying Parking Lot E located next to Thurston Hall and opposite Bush Hall.
Tickets can be purchased in advance through students on campus, in local communities through Senior Council delegates, from Dining Center Managers and at the Delaware County Office for the Aging at 6 Court Street in Delhi. Seating is limited, so tickets need to be purchased in advance.
