UHS Delaware Valley Hospital Announces Services of Occupational Therapist Leanne Legg
06/22/2012 - UHS Delaware Valley Hospital is pleased to announce it is providing full Occupational Therapy services with the recent addition of Leanne Legg OTR/L to the staff. Leanne graduated from Utica College of Syracuse University with a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. She has over 20 years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan, from infants and school aged children to geriatrics. Leanne's special interests include visual motor skills, meaningful activity pursuits such as improving function in work related roles or hobbies and adaptations for independent living.
Leanne explained the benefits of occupational therapy: "If you are suffering from an injury or illness that is now preventing you from living your life to the fullest, the services of a licensed Occupational Therapist may be able to help. Occupational Therapists help individuals at all stages of life return to performing everyday activities such as dressing, cooking, driving, fine motor activities and various job duties. If you are experiencing carpal tunnel symptoms, have been affected by a stroke, or have an elderly loved one who is struggling with independent living, Occupational Therapy may be beneficial."
